Our Native-speaking English Teacher (NET), Mr. Mark, presented his reading programme and whole-school literacy systems to the Native-speaking English Teacher and Panel of Pui Shing Catholic Secondary School. He demonstrated how the system operates, how teachers can create and level materials, how it reinforces the English curriculum, how it can become a fully digitalised scheme, and how it supports self-directed literacy learning. The presentation highlighted the school’s advanced literacy practices and how well-developed systems can be shared across contexts. He then answered questions and demonstrated video and book resources to show how the system functions in real classrooms.

The event underscores the contribution highly qualified Native-speaking English Teachers (NETs) make to Hong Kong’s students, highlighting their expertise and collaboration with schools across the territory.
